Clone Wars Vol 2

Watched the DVD again today. Just wanted a dose of Star Wars into my system. And of course the experience was satisfying. Always is when I'm watching any Star Wars DVD ... hahahahaha.

Droid fighter modifications

Made my die-cast trade federation droid fighter stood. Hacksawed a couple of joints and presto, my fighter now stood like it did in Phantom Menace.

Grinning with satisfaction now. Felt like when I was a kid again. Only that time, I cut up a plastic film to repair the cockpit of my X-wing which broke off due to rough play. Huhmmm ... the times. (flashback music pleaese)

The Hive is Alive!

Just completed reading the last book of the Dark Nest trilogy. The last book is called The Swarm War. Quite a nice read.
I think the highlight of the series was the proclamation of Luke Skywalker from Jedi Master to Jedi Grand Master by Luke himself.

The Jedi was in shambles; with many breaking ranks doing their way. The young Jedi ganging up with the hive for their reasons, Kyp and a few others going the way of assasinating the Hive leader and the rest allying with the Republic to protect Republic interests.

It was Luke's gambit of wresting absolute control over the in-fighting masters thereby uniting the jedi order once more. Be interesting to see how the next generation of Jedi react to this in future books.

Display cases ... cheap, cheap.

If you trawl thru any auction website, you'll find trinkets or stuff on the cheap. I've got myself a box of display cases from yahoo that were quite cheap. And they were bigger than the ones I keep buying from comics connection. Man, that was a rip-off!

These cases are for future titanium die-cast that I get my hands on. The only thing left after this, is to visit ikea for a matching glass cabinet to display them in.
